I moved accounts, so I decided to update my character as well! Made LOTS of changes including his overall color scheme, since I think blue fits him more~ I TRIED TO MAKE HIM MANLIER TOO-- //shot

Personality: Since he was young, he never spoke a word to someone outside of his family, so he has poor social skills. He acts and speaks formally and stutters a lot, especially to strangers, but once he gets to know someone for awhile, he'll gradually open up to them. He doesn't understand slang or modern words, so it's best if you don't use them in front of him;; ono; He's also really conscious about what other people say/think about him, and although he doesn't show it, gets hurt really easily. He can be clumsy at times, and he lacks physical strength, partly due to his history.

History: He was born into the wealthy Sinclair family in Arcania and the third child of five children. At the age of five, his magic powers were suddenly unleashed, but the immense power he possessed at such a young age caused him to go berserk. That day, several maids, butlers, or other workers of the household were killed or injured. From the shock and distressed state he was in, he went into a short coma and forgot everything that happened. Zest's violent outburst, which hurt their family name and spread rumors, caused his parents to lock him up and forbid him from entering the outside world again. He stayed in the library of his house, the only thing he cherished besides his books. He grew reserved from his family as well.

Seven years later, at the age of twelve, he was sold to a slave-owner in Xana, believing the reason his parents did this was because he "would not speak but read books from sunup to sundown." A few months after he became a slave, he managed to escape with the help of a companion he befriended there. While attempting to save his friend from the slave owner and his men, his magical powers resurfaced. However, in the end, he emerged from the outskirts of Xana alone, having lost the first friend he had made and narrowly escaping death himself. For several months, he traveled alone by foot, looking for anyone who would take him in while avoiding bandits and the slave owner's men at the same time. He went into a bit of a depressed/emotional state during this time.

He eventually arrived back at his homeland, Arcania, where two couples without children graciously took him in. He is now currently undergoing training from Quartz Vogel [link]

Misc:
-The earring (seen here: [link]) is a sort of seal put on him to hide his magic powers after his killing spree incident occurred. Zest's parents were afraid that the seal would break, which was the real reason why they wanted to send him away (he didn't know this until he realized he had powers, and even then, he can only remember fragments of the incident). He can't take it off, so he's stuck with it for the rest of his life.
-He has a somewhat photographic memory, though it is not completely accurate.
-He specializes in teleportation and psychokinesis/telekinesis.
Restrictions on teleportation: Cannot teleport anywhere stated in the rules (i.e. anywhere he hasn't been to, any forbidden/protected areas, or between cities), cannot teleport any object without touching it, cannot teleport any object through something, like a person.
Restrictions on telekinesis: Object must weigh 280 pounds or less (this applies to teleportation too) within a radius of 70 meters and he must be able to concentrate his mind on the object for at least three seconds.
-He can also perform a few elemental spells ranging from different levels.
-The band around his leg carries six daggers given by Quartz's sister Vivaldi, which he uses to pin the target down.
-The gold things around his wrist and other places were given to him by his current mother, which, similar to the earring, prevents him from going berserk again. It glows an aqua blue when he uses magic.
-The teardrops on his cape are for the guild Glas Guiltralt [link]
